With a passing rate of 94.44%, Mapúa University was hailed as the lone top-performing school in this year's February 2022 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination.
The University registered a total of 17 new sanitary engineers after a grueling 3-day examination, with three Mapúan making the Top 5.
Mapúan alumnus Engr. Marc Noblen G. De La Cruz led the batch of all the new Sanitary Engineers in the country after obtaining a score of 83.80%.
Fellow alumni Engr. Yurice Winaya Dugan Pesigan and Engr. Dave Javonillo Despabiladeras also made it to the Top 5 after ranking third and fourth, respectively.
In this year’s licensure examination for sanitary engineers, a total of 89 out of 177 examinees passed the recently concluded examination.
The examination covers Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Sanitary Science as applied to buildings, Civil Engineering, Waste Water Engineering, and Water Supply Engineering.
The February 2022 Sanitary Engineer Licensure Examination was held last January 31, February 1, and February 2, 2022.
